This course provides students with the foundation for the nursing care of adult clients experiencing gastrointestinal (GI) disorders, cancer and the care of the client and family during the organ donation process. Students enhance clinical judgment skills as they integrate evidence-based findings with the principles of health promotion, disease and injury prevention, and illness and injury management.

Prerequisites

All previously required and concurrent courses per the academic plan or consent of faculty.
