NR 350: Nutrition for Health Promotion and Disease Prevention

This course introduces students to the interrelationships among nutrition, food and the environment that have an impact on health. Topics include the basics of good nutrition throughout the lifespan with a focus on the practical application of nutritional principles related to the nurse’s role in health promotion, disease and injury prevention, and illness and injury management.

Prerequisites

All previously required and concurrent courses per the academic plan or consent of faculty.
