This nursing clinical experience involves either international travel or domestic study and allows students the ability to meet the community/public health clinical requirement in either the traditional or 15-month program.
The clinical course provides students with the opportunity to care for clients within community and public health settings. Students work with an intra- and interdisciplinary team to address the unique healthcare needs of individuals, families, communities, and vulnerable populations. Students practice health promotion, disease and injury prevention, and illness and injury management.
