Summer and Winter Interim Terms

Financial aid for a summer term is allocated at the time the financial aid package is prepared based on the student’s academic plan/program of study. If the student does not enroll in the summer term, aid allocated for summer will be canceled. Winter Interim courses are transcripted and billed in the adjacent spring term. There is no aid disbursement for the Interim term. Students who are considering moving a clinical or other course from the fall or spring semester to the Winter Interim should consult with the financial aid office to determine if this will result in an aid adjustment to the semester in which the course was originally scheduled to be completed.

Enrollment status (full-time, etc.) in a summer term is defined the same as it is in a fall or spring semester: 12 credits equal full-time, enrollment in 6 credits is considered half-time.
