This course develops quantitative reasoning skills for students in health sciences, with an emphasis on healthcare applications and preparation for coursework in science and health-related fields. Topics include numerical operations; ratios and proportions; measurement and unit conversions, basic algebraic reasoning, and introductory descriptive statistics. Throughout the course, students interpret, analyze, and solve problems using quantitative information and mathematical models.
