This course prepares emerging physical therapists to navigate, influence, manage, and lead within the rapidly evolving landscape of modern healthcare. Integrating personal leadership development, business management principles, and health system science, the course equips students with the knowledge and skills needed to thrive as clinicians and administrators. Students will showcase entrepreneurship and innovation through project-based and experiential learning focused on meeting the challenges set forth by the Institute for Healthcare Improvement Quintuple Aim. By the end of the course, students will be prepared to think and act as system‑minded leaders who can create value, improve quality, and contribute meaningfully to the sustainability and advancement of physical therapy within the broader healthcare ecosystem.
