This course will introduce the student to the management of musculoskeletal disorders of the upper quarter. Learners will examine various upper quarter neuro-musculoskeletal conditions, surgical procedures, and injuries. An emphasis will be placed on the examination principles and progress psychomotor skills and evidence-based interventions emphasizing person-centered education, manual therapy, and therapeutic exercise of the upper quarter. These principles will be integrated into a standardized clinical reasoning model for addressing individuals with upper quarter related
musculoskeletal disorders.

Prerequisites

Successful completion of all term 1 coursework.
