Admission Decision Process

Bellin College evaluates applicants holistically utilizing a combination of educational, personal, and health qualifications for admission.  Applications for prospective students will be processed in the Admissions office.  All files are reviewed on an individual basis.

Upon receipt of all application materials, the Admissions Counselor will evaluate the applicant’s file for completeness of program specific requirements (resume, American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography card, and Sonographic Principles & Instrumentation exam completion date). The admissions checklist is completed once all materials have been received

If information or requirements are not complete or satisfactory, it is documented during application discussion with the Program Director. A video interview is completed within the application portal and is reviewed by the Program Director. After review of the video, the Program Director makes an admission decision of accept or deny. The admission decision will be made collaboratively between the Admissions Counselor and the Program Director.
