The following situations may result in a dismissal from Bellin College:
Undergraduate Academic Grounds for Dismissal
The potential grounds for academic dismissal for undergraduate students are:
Any undergraduate student who is unsuccessful in three Bellin College courses OR
Unsuccessful in two major courses OR
Unsuccessful in the same course twice
Graduate Academic Grounds for Dismissal
The potential grounds for academic dismissal for graduate students are:
Any graduate student who is unsuccessful in two major courses OR
Unsuccessful in the same course twice
Additional Causes for Dismissal
- Program Participants who become ineligible to practice due to loss of license.
- Failure to fulfill or resolve academic or disciplinary probation requirements via breach of contract.
- Receipt of an incomplete in more than two enrollment sessions or two incompletes in one semester or grading period.
- If a student is not able to progress in their curriculum plan due to space or course availability.
- Violation of academic integrity.
