American Nurses Association Code of Ethics for Nurses

  1. Bellin College offers rigorous and flexible graduate nursing education through two degree pathways, a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) and Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP), each designed to prepare nurses for advanced roles in clinical practice or education. MSN students may pursue tracks in Nurse Educator, Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP), or Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP). The BSN-DNP program offers FNP and PMHNP tracks, while the MSN-DNP option supports continued doctoral study. Postgraduate certificates are available in Nurse Education, FNP, and PMHNP for those seeking specialized credentials. All programs are available in both full- and part-time formats
  2. All programs are guided by standards set by the American Nurses Association (ANA) and the American Association of Colleges of Nursing (AACN). The Nurse Educator curriculum aligns with National League for Nursing (NLN) competencies, while the advanced practice tracks are shaped by the National Organization of Nurse Practitioner Faculties (NONPF) and Nurse Practitioner Education Task Force (NTF) guidelines.
